PRGF — Plasma Rich in Growth Factors — is a technique developed by Dr Eduardo Anitua and the BTI Biotechnology Institute. A small sample of your own blood is taken, centrifuged chairside to concentrate the growth factors, and then applied to the surgical site during or after your procedure.

The growth factors in your plasma naturally support tissue healing. Concentrating and applying them directly to the area where treatment has taken place can help reduce recovery time, support bone and soft tissue regeneration, and improve post-operative comfort.

PRGF is available at Rycote as an adjunct to implant placement, extractions and other oral surgery. It is completely natural — there are no artificial additives or synthetic compounds. It uses only what your own body already produces.
